Rashika Jaipuriar, a graduate of Syracuse University, is a writer, reporter and video storyteller with experience in national and local news. Most recently, she worked at the Indianapolis Star, reporting on central Indiana’s growing immigrant communities, including stories about the resettlement of Afghan refugees, and creating content for IndyStar’s TikTok page.
In a previous role at IndyStar, she covered trending and breaking news, with several stories, New GOP-only climate change caucus and FBI watchdog report on Larry Nassar, appearing on USA Today.
Before IndyStar, she was a journalist at NBC Nightly News, producing stories, gathering news elements and leading the control room during weekend news broadcasts.
Rashika studied Broadcast and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
